Have you ever gone to the driving range and wanted to know how well you shot and what your exact score was? Well, now you can. The World Golf Systems Group created a new innovative product called TopGolf which, in my opinion, will revolutionize the golfing industry.

For starters, TopGolf isn’t just one product, it’s a whole slue of them. Everything from the driving range to the computers to the balls is what makes up TopGolf.

TopGolf is a fully designed driving range with various targets to aim at. All the targets are connected through a network to the main servers which keeps track of your score, where you hit, how far you hit, and how accurate your shot was. Then this information is relayed back to your own terminal telling you exactly how well your shot was.

How, might you be asking, does the server distinguish your golf ball from other players balls? The answer to this is the chip integrated into the center of each golf ball you hit. When you first arrive at one of the TopGolf facilities, you enter your personal card into a machine which then reads all your information on how well you’ve done in the past and spits out golf balls with your information imbedded on the chip within each ball. So then when you hit the ball, it sends a frequency back to the computer on where the ball landed and how far it was hit.

TopGolf is currently only located in the UK, but will be spreading out to places such as the US soon. As for me, I can’t wait.
