Titleist HP Distance MX
I went out yesterday to pick up another box of golf balls — due to a horrible round earlier in the week. I always like to try new things, so when I was at the store figuring out what I should try next, I noticed Titleist had come out with a new golf ball — the Titleist HP Distance MX. That was the ticket. They were $21 for the dozen, which really isn’t that bad at all especially when you can drop $40 on a dozen Nike Ones.
The Titleist HP Distance MX golf balls are the two piece construction with a resilient, firm compression core. They’re also made with the 416 quadrilateral dimple design. With all the technical jargon out of the way, it was time to test them out.
I kid you not, I was hitting these better than any other golf ball — especially with my driver. I didn’t have a bad drive all day. Most of them found the fairway, but they were all long, very long. I don’t think I’ve ever hit as good consistently with any other golf ball. I could tell instantly after impact I was getting much more ball speed than I was getting with the Callaway Warbirds. These golf balls definitely get an “A” in my book. The Titleist HP Distance MX out performs similarly priced golf balls and at only $21 per dozen they’re quite affordable.
Here are some pictures of my afternoon outing at Mee Kwon.
