One Correct Golf Swing?

I just read an article that talked about there being only one correct golf swing. I actually disagree with this. There are a few key steps you need to take during your swing, but everyone swings the club differently and there isn’t one right way to do it.

Take for example Tiger Woods who is ranked no. 1 in the world. Tiger is always fixing and refining his swing. I’m sure he swings the club differently than Phil Mickelson or Ernie Els. It’s all in what works best for you. If you can make eagle on a par 5, but you’re not using the ‘proper’ golf swing form, why change it if your swing is already working for you?

A buddy and I went to play at this county course a few months back and we were paired up with this other twosome. One of the guys we were paired up with had the craziest golf swing Id ever seen. It seemed so wild and uncontrolled, yet he was hitting the ball well. Long straight drives and nice iron shots. His chips and putts still needed work though. Nonetheless, he was hitting better than me and I couldn’t figure out how he was with his crazy swing.

What it all boils down to is how your swing works for you. So in my opinion there isn’t one correct golf swing.
