More Mee Kwon Golf
It was another fun day at Mee Kwon. Matt and I decided to get in a quick nine holes around 2:30 today. After I arrived and checked in, they told me we would be playing the front nine. I almost turned back to the guy and asked him if he was for real.
See, I’ve probably played Mee Kwon well over twenty times this season. Out of those twenty times, I’ve played the front nine once. Yup, that’s right, once. It works out kind of nice though, because I enjoy playing the back nine so much more than the front nine due to the back nine’s better hole layout.
Well, playing the front nine today reaffirmed why the back nine is so much better.
Their fairways are awful on the front nine. You can drive the ball into the dead center of practically every par 4 or the par 5 and your ball will land on an uneven lie. There’s practically no level area to hit from on any of the fairways. I still ended up hitting sub 50 with a score of 48, but I felt I could of played much better than I actually did.
If I only have time to play nine holes at Mee Kwon, I’m always going to request to play the back nine.
On a different subject, we will be playing Fire Ridge this Thursday morning. I haven’t played there yet this year and can’t wait.

I’m sure the name’s origin is more Indian than Asian.
