We all knew it was going to happen, Fred Funk was out driven by Annika Sorenstam on the third hole. Is this such a big deal though? Who cares if a woman out drove a man? Is it such a huge pride issue? Either way, Fred Funk ended up walking away with the most money after the first day of the Merrill Lynch Skins Game. Fred Funk’s winnings totaled $225,000. The only other person to walk away with any money was Tiger Woods. He left the first day with $75,000.
Nonetheless, it was rather humerous for Sorenstam to give Funk the pink skirt after she out drove him. I give him props because he actually wore it and rubbed it in everyones face walking away with the most money!
