Learn How Stretches For Golfers Can Improve Distance

Golfers want distance. Every one of them! One of the quickest ways to get it is to implement stretches specific to golfers.
The golf swing is dynamic and very awkward. There is no other sport movement so unnatural and yet golfers expect to play great golf without working on the physical requirements.

The ONLY way to improve your golf swing mechanics, power and ultimately distance is by stretching your golf swing specific muscles in the exact same positions in your golf swing.

Hitting more balls won’t do it. This will create even more bad habits and compensations. Taking more lessons when your body is broken won’t work either. Fix the machine first!

Take a look at the picture off to the side. I’m using a club to stretch my backswing muscles. The wide grip on the shaft gives me a better, more effective stretch. This is one simple golf stretch you can do that will greatly improve your golf backswing.

Breaking your golf swing into phases can be an effective way to stretch your body. You can easily come up with a half dozen simple stretches.
