Just Chip It Out…
I was browsing the videos over at youtube.com and found a video of something that almost exactly happened to me over at Kettle Hills last week. I was with Matt and we were on a par 5 hole. We both hit perfect drives straight down the fairway. Then on our second shot, he pulled his 3 wood shot right behind this cluster of trees. I told him he was never going to get it through so he should just chip out. He was like no, no I got this. Believe me, this was a tight cluster of trees.
So I was sitting there ducking behind his bag and sure enough he hits one and it ricochets off the tree and I hear it fly right past me. He must of hit four shots before he actually got one to go through. Anyway, this video reminded me of that and I couldn’t stop laughing after watching it.
