Jack Nicklaus - St. Andrews
It was a fitting last game for Jack Nicklaus. He finished out St. Andrews, but missed the cut by only three strokes. Nicklaus has been playing the game for well over 45 years and is definitely one of the greats. He finished off at St. Andrews saying, “Nothing is going to replace the 18th fairway at St. Andrews, the Masters at Augusta or the U.S. Open, but the fact is, I’m not competitive anymore. Does it matter? Everything in life has to pass.” We’ll all miss watching him play.
