Golfing In 2006
Well, the year 2006 has arrived quite quickly and not much is happening in the world of golf. I would really like to go out and hit some golf balls, but haven’t found time to drive to the closest indoor range. So far, it has rained the past two days melting practically all the snow and turning the ground into a muddy swamp.
I’m very eager to test out my new clubs though. I hope this rain means we’re in for another light winter and an early spring. Either way, the nice weather can’t come soon enough.
In other things, I’ve been debating whether to buy those Nike MAXSIGHT contact lenses. Has anyone heard anything about them? Everything that I’ve read said they’re definitely a good purchase, but I’m still slightly hesitant to purchase a box. They allow you to read the greens better and prevent you from squinting, but you obviously can’t wear them everywhere and they make you look like you have zombie eyes.
I’m just interested in feedback from others who have used them or know other people who have used them. Any help would be appreciated.
