Golf Swing Plane

I was at a local golf store today testing out drivers. One of the employees gave me a good tip on my swing.
He noticed that when I would swing the club, I would swing out to in. It explained why the majority of my drives would give the ball huge spin and in turn slice my shot.
When swinging any golf club, you want to keep your swing on the same plane. If your swing stays on the same plane and you keep your club head straight, you’re pretty much guaranteed a straight hit. It sounds like an easy enough concept, but I’m sure it will prove more challenging when I get back out on the courses after the weather warms up.
It’s something I’ll have to work on when I’m able to get back out to the driving range next season. Until then, I have all these thoughts running through my head on how to improve on my golf game and I can’t put any of them into practice. Maybe I’ll go buy some of those red LED golf balls and go play in the snow! Winter golf, now that could be interesting.
Since the weather is all nasty here, I decided to post a picture of what I wish the weather was like. Nothing better than blue skies and palm trees.
