Golf At Kettle Hills This Sunday
My buddy Matt called up yesterday and set us up a 2:00 tee time this Sunday at Kettle Hills Golf Course. I’ve played Kettle Hills once before, but it was only nine holes and the weather was crap. Needless to say, it was a bad day all around and really want to get back and play well.
Kettle Hills consists of two 18 hole courses and one nine hole par 3 course. The courses are as follows: Ponds/Woods 18, Valley 18, and the Rolling 9. When I last played there, I played nine holes on the Ponds/Woods course which was absolutely gorgeous — too bad the weather was dreadfully cold. This Sunday, we’re slated to play on the Valley 18 which, from what I’ve heard, is much nicer than the Ponds/Woods 18. If the Valley 18 is nicer than the Ponds/Woods 18, then it must be extremely nice because the Ponds/Woods 18 was a nice course.
Even though this will be my first time playing the Valley 18, I think it’s possible for me to break 90. I’ve been shooting well and usually card low to mid 40s on nine. The weather is supposed to be warm Sunday, 88 degrees to be exact, so the golfing conditions will be the exact opposite from when I last played there. Wish me luck!
I’ll make sure to bring my camera along and take tons of pictures to show off the course and beautiful scenery. Until then, make sure to repair your divots and fix your ball marks.
