Callaway Anounces New Big Bertha Irons

Earlier today, Callaway announced they will be releasing their new 2006 Callaway Big Bertha Irons and they will be available for retail on January 15th. The new 2006 Big Bertha Irons will be priced at $999 for the graphite shafts and $760 for the steel shafts. Their made in the 2-iron through the lob wedge, but the clubs included in the set are the 3-iron through Pitching Wedge.

“The new Big Bertha Irons are masterpieces in their category,” said George Fellows, President and CEO of Callaway Golf. “Their superior technology and forgiving product design deliver the absolute best irons for players looking for game improvement.”

Even though I won’t be buying the newest Callaway Big Bertha Irons, I’ll probably head on over to the closest Golf Galaxy and test a few of them out. As of now though, I’m a big fan of the PING iron sets.
